Elin is married to George and they have 3 children and 6 grandchildren.

Elin has many hobbies including: needlework, singing with the Polymnia Choral Society of Melrose since 1978, reading, walking around Lake Quannapowitt, babysitting her grandchildren, cooking, and various volunteer work.

She has traveled to Bermuda, Aruba, Quebec, New Mexico, Florida, Virginia, Washington, DC, Pennsylvania, and New York City.

Elin is a former 8^th grade math teacher.  She retired in 2011 after 15 years as an administrative assistant with AVS, Inc. Billerica, MA
