Joy’s
husband is deceased; she has three children
Mark, Kathy, and Karen.
She has
5 grandchildren and 2 greatgrands.
Joy’s
hobbies are swimming, movies, hiking, and rafting.
She has
lived in Missoula, Montana; Miami; and now lives in the Blue Ridge Mountains of
Georgia.
Joy’s
home is a log cabin in the mountains northwest of Atlanta. The Appalachian Trail is 4 miles
from her cabin. Her land is next to the
National Forest. There are lots of
wildlife that visit her yard: bears, deer, fox, snakes, and many other
animals.
Joy says,
“This is the life.”
